We Are Divergent
At the heart of Divergent, we are more than just a sports clothing brand; we are a movement with a purpose and a mission. In a world where many strive to blend in, we celebrate those who dare to stand out. Divergent is dedicated to empowering individuals to accept and embrace their unique differences.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to outfit the world’s most divergent people and make them feel great about it. Every piece of apparel we create tells a story of individuality and confidence. Welcome to Divergent, where your differences are your greatest strength.
Origins
Born in the vibrant heart of Morocco, Divergent (DVGT) emerged as a testament to the excellence of Moroccan textiles, which once conquered the global industry. Our mission is to revive this legacy. With everything sourced and produced locally in Morocco, Divergent stands as a symbol of quality and the resilient spirit of our remarkable community.
Pay it Forward
We believe in the power of paying it forward to the community that inspires us. With every purchase, Divergent raises $2 to support SOS Village, an association dedicated to promoting child welfare and providing humanitarian aid. By helping these children have a better life, we are empowering them to grow up and help others. Together, we can make a lasting difference.

Word From the Founder
“Just as I felt different my whole life and wanted to do things my own way, I was constantly shut down by societal norms until I broke free. My mission with Divergent is to help others do the same,” says Ismail. With Divergent, he aims to empower individuals to reach the peak of their potential by embracing their uniqueness.
Born and raised in Morocco, Ismail M. Tanout traveled the world and studied abroad, where he gained invaluable insights about what mattered most to him—his unique identity and what set him apart from others. This self-awareness helped him navigate the world and inspired him to start the DIVERGENT movement.
